Tim Campbell is a dynamic young member of our church. A student at North Toronto Collegiate Institute, he finds time for study, sport, family and service to church and community. At Yorkminster Park, he is a regular participant in the Youth Group activites, and helps with the Youth class in the church school. He was baptized as a believer in 2003, and became a member of the church family at that time.
His roots are firmly in Toronto, although is father’s family were from Kingston. He has attended Oriole Park Elementary School, De La Salle College, and is now at N.T.C.I. His ambition is to go on to (he hopes) Queen’s University to study Engineering and Business. Like many young people of his age, he hopes to be able to do a lot of traveling as well.
His studies do not occupy all of his time, however. He has musical interests, playing the guitar and the saxophone, and is of course active in various sports. Hockey is a major interest, but Tim also swims and plays lacrosse. He cycles frequently and keeps in shape by running.
Tim is an example of the finest of our young people. The spiritual, academic, physical and social are all combined to create a well-rounded personality. His ambitions are balanced as well with his desire to be of service. Tim comes from a family that has been active for many years in the church. He is one of the reasons that Yorkminster Park feels positive about the future.
