Oasis Ministry

Donations Welcome - Oasis Ministry, an ongoing program at Dufferin Street Baptist Church, supported by Yorkminster Park Women's Ministry, will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, June 14, 2008. They need new items for a silent auction, e.g. movie or theatre passes, tickets to the Museum or Art Gallery, store gift certificates, tickets to sporting events. Doors Open Toronto

We encourage you to invite family, friends and neighbours to YPBC to share our worship experience and to explore the behind the scenes life of our church.

Special guided tours of the organ,
sanctuary, and stained glass windows

Yorkminster Park Meals on Wheels

Yorkminster Park Meals on Wheels urgently needs volunteer drivers to deliver meals in this community during July and August. Meals are delivered between 10:30am and 12:30pm daily, Monday to Friday. If you can spare two hours weekly or on an occasional basis, please call 416-482-0549.

Karl Griffiths-Fulton, a documentary photographer who concentrates on issues of human conflict, shows a photographic series entitled Self-inflicted wound, that is informed both by the conflicts that have riven Ireland as well as by the war poetry of Wilfred Owen. In conjunction with CONTACT 2008 Toronto Photography Festival: Between Memory and History. His work has been exhibited throughout Great Britain and Ireland, Russia, and Canada. Born in Northern Ireland, Griffiths-Fulton now lives in Waterloo, Ontario.
