The churches in the Yonge and St. Clair neighbourhood, collectively known as The Churches on the Hill, operate a food bank at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, on Mondays (6:00pm-8:00pm) and Wednesdays (10:30am-1:30pm). This non-profit organization puts volunteers to work building simple, decent, affordable homes in Toronto and around the world. One of our members, Neil Hetherington, directs the Toronto chapter. Volunteers build homes, provide meals on the job sites, assist with administration, and staff the ReStore sales centres.
