Discipleship and The Value of Learning

Yorkminster Park knows the importance of education as a means of developing followers of Jesus Christ and our Christian Education programs reflect the value we place on the learning process. We seek to inform people of the Kingdom of God, inspire people to seek the Kingdom of God, and equip people to serve within the Kingdom of God.

Children’s Ministry (Sept-June)

YPBC offers programs for all ages on Sunday mornings. The staff who work with children up to 18 years old are screened and approved according to our Child Safety Policy. Through the use of Faith Alive “Walk with Me” curriculum for children nursery to Grade 5, we teach the stories of the Bible, and encourage children to apply what they learn in their daily lives.

Join us at 10:15 am Sunday mornings in the Yorkminster Park Centre. In accordance with our Child Safety Policy, a registration form must be filled out for every child participant. These forms are available at the front desk. They may be left there or submitted to our Church School Coordinator or any member of the Children’s Ministry team.

Kidzone — the children's library is open Sunday mornings from 9:45 am until 11:00 am and after the service. We encourage parents to explore this area with their children. It is designed to encourage the family in their faith walk and provide helps that support the parent as they nurture the faith of their children. All the books and videotapes may be borrowed from the Children’s library without cost.
