Discipleship and Spiritual Growth

Discipleship 101

The Yorkminster Park family is concerned that each person has a foundational understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ.

Although the class is open to everyone, its primary focus is to prepare participants for Baptism and church membership. With this foundation each new believer and prospective member will be set on the right path and have a basis for future growth.

The class will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 until 10:30 am and the entire ministerial staff will participate, providing an opportunity to meet member of the ministerial team.

Discipleship 200

The Spiritual Growth of the believer is an ongoing and life-long journey of faith. You are invited to continue to grow in Christ through a six-week study of ‘Big’ terms used in the life of the church. While we have heard these terms their specific meaning and use is the church is less known.

The class will meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 until 10:30 am, in the Library, and seminary trained members of our community will teach and lead. We welcome the opportunity to share with the church their expertise and passion for Christ.
