CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2020<\/h1>\n

The lights are up and out of doors.
\n<\/span>Three blue spruce shine as never before.
\nPacked in crates and sprouting doubt
\nthe trees inside are down and out,
\nas are so many.\u00a0 <\/span>But up are the lights,
\nleading us out of the shadows of night.
\nWhy keep the light inside under a bushel,
\nwhen outside an inn unassuming
\nburns still a bush unconsuming?
\nIn this cold, covid winter stark,
\nGod speaks into the chaos dark.
\nLight, oh let there be heavenly love.
\nThe Word made flesh, down from above.
\nHoly human, full of acumen, divine.
\nSo eat the bread, and drink the wine,
\ntake off your shoes, fall on your knees.
\nGod touched the earth and lit up the trees.<\/p>\n
