Minister of the Congregation

Peter Holmes, BA, MDiv, DMin was inducted as Minister of the Congregation on December 2, 2001, having served at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church as Minister of Pastoral Care since 1995.

Rev. Dale Rose

Minister of Pastoral Care

Dale Rose began his ministry here in the fall of 2012. Prior to coming to Yorkminster Park, he served as the Senior Pastor of Lorne Park Baptist Church in Mississauga for 16 years. Earlier in his ministry he pastored churches on the west island of Montreal (Lakeside Heights Baptist) and in picturesque Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, where he was ordained in 1985.

Rev. Cheryle Hanna

Minister of Discipleship

The Rev. Cheryle R.C. Hanna joined the staff in June 2009. She is a citizen of the United States and excited about opportunities to be a part of Kingdom building in a new country.

Rev. Sam Lee

Minister of Youth

Sam Lee joined the staff of Yorkminster Park in 2008. Sam came from South Korea in 1987 and grew up in Toronto. His formative years was spent at his home church, Young Nak Presbyterian Church where he gained his love to serve the Lord. Organist and Director of Music

William Maddox is a performance graduate of Queen's University, Trinity College of Music, and the Central Academy of Music, London. Mr. Maddox has served churches in Picton, Belleville and Kingston, and began his duties as Yorkminster Park Baptist Church's fourth Director of Music in 1996.

Mrs. Miriam Little

Director of Children's Ministries

Miriam came to Yorkminster Park in June of 2008. Miriam has had experience working with Children’s Ministries in a variety of places and capacities. Some of these include leading nutrition clinics for moms and their preschool children in the slums of Port au Prince Haiti (1984-1989), serving as Children’s Pastor at Spring Garden Baptist Church in Toronto (1994-2005) and administrating a children’s

Mrs. Catherine (Cathy) Newman

Parish Nurse

Cathy is an RN with extensive experience working in the community with diverse groups of people. She has expertise in mental health nursing, gerontology and health assessment. She has reduced her hours at the Harbour Light in order to serve on our team twenty-one hours per week.

Rev. Dr. William A. Sturgess

Minister Emeritus – Pastoral Care

In 1994 Dr. Sturgess retired from the position of Associate Minister, Pastoral Care, at Yorkminster Park.
