Gather

PORDS* are a group of plein-air painters founded by Anthony Batten. The group currently includes Kim Atkins, Heidi Burkhardt, Laurie De Camillis, Kat Palmer, and Maurice Snelgrove. Each artist maintains a studio and an independent art practice. They have a passion for travel and have had the good fortune to share many painting trips in Canada and abroad. The road trips are especially memorable going back to their common experience as art educators at a summer art camp near Bancroft, Ontario.

*PORDS are "Painters of Riveting Distinction", a name the artists ironically gave themselves and it stuck.
