‘Heart Of Giving Cards’

The Heart of Giving Card is a way to celebrate and share what you value most about our church. Below are some of the things valued by the YPBC family:

“The beauty of the sanctuary, the ordered service of worship (worship the Lord in the beaty of holiness), that children are welcomed, our ministerial team... and so much more”

“I like the grade 3 class, the beautiful music from the choir, Rev. Holmes, Mrs. and Mr. Little & all the great teachers.” 

“The organ music, the webcast of the services. I watch them every week because no longer live in Toronto”

“I like the goldfish!”

“Our Loving Church Family - I have found love and grace in the form of support, encouragement and comfort for myself and my family in our darkest hours and in our brightest hours and everything in between.”

“One of the things I like about church is that I get to worship Jesus. The other thing I like about church is that we get to spend time together.”

People Who Made a Difference in my Spiritual Life:

Mrs. Kim Aikenhead - she brings us such beautiful bouquets of flowers - especially those on Monday, January 16, 2012. Mrs. Joyce Wood - sends us such lovely and inspirational letters and notes.

The list could be longer but I remember three very special Christian women whose lives of witness and service set an example for many. The names of Matilda Findlay, Wennifred Brewer and Kay Rowe should never beforgotten.
