Family Ministry Faith at Home Resources

Hello Families

Our Teaching Series is on PRAYER.
This week our focus is: I can take all my worries to God! Part 5 of 7.

Key Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7 (The Message)
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life.

• We can take comfort knowing that God is near
• We can take all of worries and anxieties to God in prayer
• We can focus our thoughts on what is right, noble, true, pure, lovely and admirable and put these things into practice
• We can count on God's promises to help us and give us peace

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Our Family Ministry Team delight in reaching out, encouraging and offering you prayer. When you get a chance, watch our teaching videos, engage in the lesson plans and pray together as a family. Also, watch Jackie's worship video from last week again as the words relate to our theme. Feel free to call, email us about anything and we will pray about everything.

Prayer for the Week

Father God, thank you for all your blessings!
We praise Your Holy Name.
May your Holy Spirit guide us in all truth and may we follow Your ways with love in our hearts.
We confess our sins to You and ask for Your forgiveness.
Help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
Help us to turn all of our worries and concerns and shape them into prayers.
We know that you are awesome and wonderful and we can trust you with everything.
May your bless and protect us oh Lord.
In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
