An Easter Greeting from Ken Bellous
"Christ, the Lord, is risen today, Alleluia!" begins the hymn we'll be singing Easter Sunday. What a powerful, wonderful truth. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again from the dead. We have new life, both now and for eternity. Along with billions of brothers and sisters in Christ around the world we celebrate God's mercy and grace. I hope you are able to join us for some, or all, of the activities planned for Holy Week and Easter Day. It's an opportunity to come and bring a friend.
As we join to worship and serve together, we can do so much more than any of us could accomplish alone. We continue to feel grateful that we can act together as the family of God in this place to make a difference in the world around us. We see and hear about so much pain and suffering. We can bring the hope and joy of the gospel to those in need.
This is a joyful season, full of hope. It begins within us as we remember again the eternal victory gained by Christ's resurrection. We have a message of hope and joy to share with all those God places in our path. May Resurrection joy be yours today and always.
Rev. Dr. Ken Bellous
