Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is the backbone of our church community. It not only allows us to run wonderful programs and activities, and roots us in the fabric of our wider community, but it also enriches the lives of our volunteers through the joy of serving others and the friendship and fellowship inherent in working together.

Listed below are some of our immediate needs:

Out of the Cold

Starting December 22nd and continuing every Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm until early April 2022, Yorkminster Park will again be offering the Out of the Cold program to people experiencing homelessness. Because of the pandemic, we are unable to offer indoor dining or overnight shelter, but we are pleased to provide nutritious dinners and take-away lunches, as well as warm clothing and other necessities.
If you would like to help, please contact us at OOTC@yorkminsterpark.com or call the Church Office.
