Yorkminster Park Anniversary Sunday

A special worship service to celebrate the blessings of our history and heritage as we press on in faith.

We are delighted to welcome the Rev. Dr. Andrew Stirling as our guest preacher for Anniversary Sunday. Andrew is a longtime friend of Yorkminster Park, with a warm relationship with our congregation that has grown over many years.

Andrew currently serves as Ambassador for the Canadian Bible Society. Prior to taking on that role in 2022, he served for more than two decades as Senior Minister of Timothy Eaton Memorial United Church in Toronto, from 1998 until his retirement in 2021.

A respected preacher, teacher and church leader, Andrew holds a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from Acadia Divinity College. In 2008, Wycliffe College recognized his contribution to preaching with an honorary Doctor of Divinity, and in 2016 he was appointed a Lifetime Fellow of Acadia Divinity College.

Andrew's ministry has extended well beyond the local church. For the past 15 years, he has also served as an IndyCar chaplain.

We look forward to welcoming this longtime friend back to Yorkminster Park as we gather to celebrate our life and ministry together on Anniversary Sunday.

There will be a reception with light refreshments immediately following the morning service. Please mark your calendar for this special service of worship.
