Celebrating 30 Years of Music Ministry

Join us as we celebrate William Maddox's 30th Anniversary at Yorkminster Park. For three decades, William has enriched the worship and musical life of our church. Join us for a special luncheon as we honour this milestone with gratitude and appreciation.

William Maddox, BMus, FTCL, FCAM

William Maddox is a performance graduate of Queen's University, Trinity College of Music, and the Central Academy of Music, London. William has served churches in Picton, Belleville and Kingston, and began his duties as Yorkminster Park Baptist Church's fourth Director of Music in 1996.

Active as a recitalist, he has been heard in recital in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Brazil, as well as on the CBC. William has also served as Instructor of Organ in the School of Music at Queen's University at Kingston, where his students were recipients of numerous University and national scholarships and awards

William is a Fellow of a number of learned societies for musicians and acts as the Canadian representative of the Academy of Saint Cecilia. William also serves as a consultant to many churches regarding the tonal design and console appointments of their new instruments.
