Life Groups and Spiritual Growth

One thing that all of us have in common is that we are on a journey - an adventure of life - and we're not meant to journey alone. At Yorkminster Park we welcome you to journey with us.

Our Life Groups are opportunities for us to do life together, to share in the struggles and victories, the sorrows, and the joys. Our groups are being conducted in-person at church and online. Some are hybrid - a combination of the two.

Most of our groups are taking time out for the summer and will be returning in September. However, there are several groups that are still in session for the summer months*.

Mustard Seed Fellowship

Each member takes a turn to lead the study. The Holy Spirit opens our minds and deepens our faith in the process. If you would like to join a group whose purpose is to learn more about God and grow your faith in the Lord, we welcome you.

Friendship Room
If you are interested in knitting or crocheting, we encourage you to join us for an afternoon of fellowship and of creating shawls to be given to people in need of comfort. We welcome new people to join us. If you are less experienced in these skills, assistance is available. Yarn and needles are also provided.

Join us in our casual monthly get together to share your love of reading with like-minded individuals. At each meeting every participant is given an opportunity to tell the group their thoughts on the book, their likes, and dislikes, and / or how the book has touched them.
