Join a Lenten small group for a six-week journey of faith, reflection, and preparation for Easter. Groups meet weekly, in person or online, using Discernment: Reading the Signs of Daily Life by Henry Nouwen. Ahmeda Mansaray Richardson, Director of Mission and Community Engagement, in conversation with Kamala-Jean Gopie, Former Ontario Human Rights Commissioner, on her journey to Canada, and her career in education, community advocacy, and global philanthropy.
February 11:
The Rev. Dr. Mark Jefferson, Associate Professor in the John Gladstone Chair of Preaching and Worship, along with concert artists Measha Brueggergosman-Lee and Kenneth Overton, will explore African American spirituals in both Canadian and U.S. contexts, with particular attention to Canada's distinct Black spiritual heritage.
