2016 Holy Week Guest Biographies
Paul Henderson
Paul Henderson played 18 years of professional hockey with the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Atlanta Flames. History will remember Paul for the 1972 Canada-USSR Series, when he scored the winning goal in each of the final three games. His winning goal in the last game is regarded as one of the greatest sports moments in the last century, and Team Canada ‘72 was voted the Team of the Century by the Hockey Hall of Fame. Paul is a member of several sports Hall of Fame organizations and has been honored with numerous awards including the Order of Canada.
Paul currently works with LeaderImpact where he has been developing people for leadership since 1984. He has mentored a number of men in our church through the years and we are grateful. Paul holds two honorary doctor of divinity degrees and Paul has co-authored several books. Paul is married to Eleanor, his high school sweetheart. Paul and Eleanor have three married daughters and seven grandchildren. Paul is an avid reader and loves golf and tennis.

Lorna Dueck
Lorna Dueck is the host and executive producer of Context with Lorna Dueck, and president of Media Voice Generation, the Canadian charitable organization that produces the weekly broadcast. Context with Lorna Dueck explores current affairs from a Christian perspective. Presenting "life beyond the headlines," the half-hour television program airs on seven TV networks. A popular television personality and public speaker, Lorna works extensively in Canada's non-profit and charitable sector. She is a regular commentary writer on faith and public life in Canada's leading national newspaper, The Globe and Mail.

Rev. Matt Wilkinson
Rev. Matt Wilkinson is the Director of Next Generation Ministries for the Canadian Baptists of Ontario & Quebec and the Executive Director of Camp Kwasind. He is a strategic and visionary leader with a deep passion to see the local church effectively engaging the next generation with the person and message of Jesus Christ.
Matt contributes to the world of youth ministry at both local and national levels. He is currently the chair of the National Canadian Baptist Youth & Family Ministry Team, Youth Ministry Instructor at Tyndale University College, Co-Director of the Todayâ€TMs Teens Conference and author of the book, Youth Ministry: Now & Not Yet.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. He has furthered his educational endeavours through studies at Tyndale University College and Seminary as well as through the Arrow Leadership program. He will complete a Master of Arts degree at Wheaton College this year majoring in Leadership and Evangelism.
He is married to Charity and has two children, Grace (4) and Joshua (2). Matt is passionate about the Maple Leafs, Tim Horton’s, camp ministry and creating memorable adventures.
